Change IP Address of PKI Server
Hi,
We have a PKI solution in place based on Server 2003R2. It was initially used for smart card's and EFS folder encryption on our laptops, but we changed to RSA SecurID's to replace the cards.
So now all our PKI infrastructure does is issue certificates for EFS on the laptops, inclluding DRA's.
We are now consolidating our servers out of the HQ to a Datacenter off site. One sticking point is the PKI infrastructure.
If we move the PKI servers to the co-lo and thus change the IP and subnet, what ramifications will this have for the exisiting certificates on the laptops and more importantly the DRA certs? Will it matter chanign IP's as we will not be changing
the hostnames, so DNS should resolve things ok.
Thanks for any advice!

No if you change also all DNS records (host / CNAMEs) then there will no problem.
