Certificate enrollment is available only by using Web enrollment support to a Standa-alone CA
Hi
According to this article ADCS PKI design( http://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/7421.ad-cs-pki-design.aspx#Enterprise_vs_stand-alone_CAs)
the only way submit a cert request to a standalone CA is with the Web Enrollment. Is this true? Certreq.exe? I hav plenty of both domain-joined machines and non-domain joined.
Kind regards

You can use certreq to get a certificate as well. I will have to update that article because that is incorrect. When setting up a stand-alone Root CA, I have used certreq to get certificates for the subordinate CA. No CA Web Enrollment installed.
