Certificate Request Wizard
Hi, I have setup an enterprise CA on a domain controller running Windows Server 2003. The installation went fine and IIS appears to have the virutal directories setup. However when trying to request a certificate on a member server using MMC -> Certificate. I get the below error: --------------------------- Certificate Request Wizard --------------------------- The wizard cannot be started because of one or more of the following conditions: - There are no trusted certification authorities (CAs) available. - You do not have the permissions to request certificates from the available CAs. - The available CAs issue certificates for which you do not have permissions. --------------------------- OK --------------------------- Any assistance would be appreciated. Hi, Some additional information on my problem: When I browse to an test ASP page under the default site of the CA server, I can view the ASP page fine. So ASP appears to be enabled and working. When I browser from the member server to http://<CA-Server-Name>/certsrv, I get prompted for a username and password. When I browse fromthe member server to http://<CA-Server-Name/CertEnroll, I get "Website Declined To Show The Page". Thanks PeterOffice Server Addict

Hi, Ok figured out the problem. My computers and servers did not have the Root CA certificate under Trusted Root CA's. So I created a GPO that adds my Enterprise Root CA to all doman computers / server etc. I managed to get the answer from this video: http://www.youtube.com/user/Grizzamore#p/a/u/1/woGpWv_cWAg I can now request a certifiace fine.
