HiFor a Enterprise root CA (also for windows 2003) you need to have an Enterprise server.Windows 2003 standard only supports standalone ca's.Please look into this Technet Articel http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc700804.aspxThanks.... Deva --Self-trust is the first secret of success.

Hi, Thanks for your post. You can install Enterprise CA on Standard Edition server. However, CAs that are set up on servers running Windows Server 2003, Standard Edition supports only version 1 template. For more information, you can refer to the following articles: Active Directory Certificate Services Overview http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc755071.aspx Certificate Template Versions http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc725838(WS.10).aspx Hope it helps.
