CentOS Xenserver to Hyper-V

Has anyone had recent success migrating a CentOS, or other linux, Xen server into Hyper-V. I'm not having any luck. My process is thus.

Export from Xencenter as .xva (direct export as OVF fails instantly, don't know why, another issue)

Convert from .xva to ovf w/ vhd.

Attach VHD to new VM in our hyper-v cluster

This results in a vm that will not boot, get's stuck @ a blinking cursor. Everything I'm reading this is due to paravirtual drivers that get installed on xen servers. But I cannot find a way to either remove them.

Has anyone encountered this? Our Windows systems from Xen --> Hyper-V are working fine, just the Linux systems are failing.
