I have excel 2013 file with several columns, I switch to Powerpivot tab, chose "Calculated fields > New calculated field", write the following statement (Area and Country are 2 columns in the sheet)

=IF(ISBLANK([Area]);BLANK();[Area] & "," & [Country])

Clicking "Check Formulas", I get "Unhandled exception has occured in a component in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. The Connection is not opened

When I click on continue, I get the following error

Cannot update the 'MdxScript' object 'MdxScript', it needs to be part of a connected Server object.
