I'm trying to set up Microsoft ASR to backup our onsite Hyper-V Servers to Azure.  I have been going through the quick start wizard which has been going well up until creating the Protection Group.

I am unable to specify the storage account in the Protection Group Settings.

Has anyone come across this before or have any pearls of wisdom?  I have created a few different storage accounts in different regions to no avail.

Please make sure that storage account is Geo Redundant Storage (GRS)

Yes - it certainly is a GRS (Standard-GRS) account.

I've just tried again, and still no storage account in the list. :(

There are 2 conditions that need to be met for a Storage Account to show up in the Create Protection Group Wizard.

1) The SA should be GRS

2) The SA and the Vault should be in the same Geo.

Can you please confirm both these conditions are met in your case.
