Cannot install Certification Authority Web Enrollment
I have just moved my CA from a Windows 2003 server to a new Windows 2008 using the steps details herehttp://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=c70bd7cd-9f03-484b-8c4b-279bc29a3413&DisplayLang=enThere were several "gotchas" in my upgrade as the original server was a DC and the new server had a new NetBIOS name (CA name stayed the same)- the only server is stillonline but CA has been removed. After some work it looks to be working OK now. I used the steps in this articlehttp://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/winserversecurity/thread/1a76f377-fedf-4736-8a7d-8368fc47b5ba/to get my templates working - now I don't see any more errors in the event viewer and I can access my templates.I cannot, however, install the Web Enrollment piece. As soon as I hit the checkbox in the select role services window I get the message "Cannot install certification authority web enrollment. Certification authority web enrollment cannot be installed on this computer."My server is running in Hyper-V as a 32 Bit Windows 2003 Server- Standard EditionThe only other 3rd part application I have installed is Symnatec Endpoint. I have the CA role, NAP and IIS on this system already.Any ideas? Thansks.

Hi, According to the solution in the following thread: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/winserverDS/thread/fc168fd0-3256-435b-9ac0-8a47a76fc1e4/ Please uninstall the ADCS, reinstall the ADCS along with ADCS Web Enrollment, and then restore CA from backup. Hope it helps.
