Cannot allow remote connections to remote IPs
I'm trying to allow remote connections to a MySQL server and another database server (DBISAM) with no success...
I'm using W2008 Web Server. Everything is working fine except this.
W2008 Server new Firewall (with advanced security) is a bit different from previous one. I have tried even to deactivate Firewall, but there's still something more to configure because I'm not able to connect to none of the database servers.
Are there other IP filters, rules, firewall, etc... where I have to set up something else?
Thanks!

Hi,
I would suggest check the configuration first by performing local connection. Check your router settings, make sure required ports are opened. If it connects properly on the server, help to collect more information for research.
Where is your client? Is your Windows 2008 server behind a NAT or proxy or other network device? Let us know your network topology.
At the same time, download Microsoft Network Monitor on the server to monitor the network traffic.

Run Network Monitor and start capturing.
Reproduce the problem on client, when error occurs, stop the capturing on server, save the result and upload the file to Windows Live SkyDrive (http://www.skydrive.live.com/). If you would like other community
