Hi, As VPC only support 32bit operation system, there will be compatability issue if you try to install Windows Server 2008 64bit OS in VPC. This is expected behaviour. If you want to install Windows Server 2003 or Windows Server 2008 on VPC on Windows 7, I would like to suggest that you install 32bit OS version. It should work. Hi, According to the following pages, it seems that Windows 7 is a support host operating system and Windows Server 2008 is a supported guest operating system. http://www.virtualbox.org/ http://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/End-user_documentation http://www.virtualbox.org/manual/ch04.html#id337130 So, if you configured the VM properly, you should be able to install Windows Server 2008 on it. By the way, please try to install some other operating system such as Windows XP to see whether you get the same issue. If the issue continues, it is recommend that you contact virtualbox to perform the further research. Thanks for your understanding. Best Regards, Vincent Hu
