Can not copy text from Remote Desktop to local Windows Server 2008
Hello, I lauchmstsc to connect a remote machine running Windows server 2003 from the local machine running Windows Server 2008. I find I can copy text from Win2K8 and paste them in Win2K3 but I can not paste text copied from Win2K3in Win2K8. When I connect to the same remote machine from another local machine running Vista, both directions run well. I guess some security setting in Win2K8 blocks the clip board from remote desktop. But I do not what it is and google nothing about this. Any help appreciated.Xiaofeng Wang | MVP(ASP/ASP.NET) | Beijing P.R.C

Hi Sainath, Thanks for your verification. It's really strange in my environment. I aslo connect to a second remote Win2K3 and it has the same problem. My version:windows server 2003 server - rdp client version - 5.2 (build 3790)windows server 2008 server - rdp client version 6.0.6001I'm trying to install the SP2 and waiting for the result. But I do not think it requiresany hot fix. It may be caused by some conflict.Xiaofeng Wang | MVP(ASP/ASP.NET) | Beijing P.R.C
