I am hoping that this will be a quick answer to a quick question. I look after a child domain and I have been tasked with migrating to 2008 R2. The Forest schema has already been expended for 2008 R2 but the region of our company that hold the root, have no immediate plans to add 2008 R2 DC's to the root. Given that, can I add 2008 R2 DC's to my child domain before the root has any (2008 R2 DC's)? Thanks in advance for your time. LS
