I am planning to create SHA-256 CA certificate using LUNA CSP and LUNA HSM in microsoft ADCS. When I installing ADCS , I choosed LUNA CSP. But I can't find SHA-256 in algorithm list. I found only SHA-1. I registered in LUNA for all algorithm including SHA-256. Question is why I can't see SHA-256 in algorithm list?

The reason is that you are using the Safenet CSP, and not the SafeNet KSP.

Rather than running register to complete the setup, you need to run KSPConfig (in the \KSP subfolder under LunaClient)

In addition, you need to register the KSP (using Chrystoki.dll) and register for both your enterprise Admin account and for NT AUthority\System.

Once you do that, you will have SHA256 available as a signature algorithm
