Can't create protection groups on the Azure Portal with on-premise hyper-v to Azure

Im trying to setup Azure Site Recovery on-premise hyper-v to Azure. I have successfully configured the Hyper-V Sites and installed the provider with the registration key. Both servers show green. I see my hyper-v server on the server tab.

The issue occurred when Im moving to the next step creating a Protection Group. When click on the create new protection group Im getting the error saying "
An error occurred while retrieving the list of servers".

I had this error also yesterday and I tried to delete the sites, vault and create everything again. I used the unregister scripted

https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/azure/dn903160.aspx?f=255&MSPPError=-2147217396

Still I got the error today again.

I really dont understand what Im doing wrong.

Ps. I followed this guide

Hello All,

We found this to be an issue in our older Microsoft Azure Site Recovery Provider installer. We have released a new patch for the same. Please download the version 4.6.792 from the link on the Azure Portal or directly from Download Center link @ http://download.microsoft.com/download/3/0/F/30F079B9-55D1-4C58-9A06-79772A6F5BAD/AzureSiteRecoveryProvider.exe

If you are already on V 4.6.792 and still hit this issue please email post back on this thread so that I can get back in touch with you.

Regards,

Anoop KV

I found the solutions. I made a ticket with Microsoft and we found the problem. There was a "#" in the name of my virtual network switch from my hyper-v server. When I removed the # in the name and restarted the services, I could make the protection group.

Your welcome, glade I could help you out. I'm kind of stuck myself with site-to site vpn part. I made the posted here with all the details.

https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/4f981cda-52ea-41e9-b9e7-4c34bb7367b8/need-help-to-configure-a-vpn-connection-to-an-azure?forum=WAVirtualMachinesVirtualNetwork

I want to make a planned failover and connect the network with the virtual machines. Somehow the vpn connection fails on phase 2.

I have a similar issue creating a Protection Group.  The html on the page is messed up and fails every time I try to create the protection group. It appears the same in IE 11 and Chrome 42.0.2311.90.

When I click through the screens to create the Protection Group, it just comes back saying it failed.

I am on version 4.6.792 of recovery provider.
