Can't connect after changing RDP Port
Hello all Windows Server 2008 R2 On one of our servers we changed the RDP port from 3389 to 50000 in HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Terminal Server\Winstations\RDP-TCP\PortNumber In the Remote Destkop connection we would type: 10.122.10.20:50000 to connect. This has always worked in the past with Windows Server 2003 however with 2008 we cannot RDP into it (even after reboot). Once changed back to 3389, it works again. Any ideas?

try adding a rule for the new port in Firewall.MCSE | MCITP - Server 2008 | MCITP - Exchange 2007 | MCTS - Exchange 2010
Free Windows Admin Tool Kit Click here and download it now
