Can't add library share in VMM 2012 R2

I added a library server in VMM 2012 R2,and when I try to add the library share I receive this error:

Error (2912)
An internal error has occurred trying to contact the msc2012.test.com server: : .

WinRM: URL: [http://msc2012.test.com:5985], Verb: [ENUMERATE], Resource: [http://schemas.microsoft.com/wbem/wsman/1/wmi/root/scvmm/FileInformation], Filter: [select * from FileInformation where parentFilename='\\\\msc2012.test.com\\Library']

The network location cannot be reached. For information about network troubleshooting, see Windows Help (0x800704CF)

Recommended Action
Check that WS-Management service is installed and running on server msc2012.test.com. For more information use the command "winrm helpmsg hresult". If msc2012.test.com is a host/library/update server or a PXE server role then ensure that VMM agent is installed and running. Refer to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2742275 for more details.

The WS-Management service is running on the server and the VMM agent is installed too.I also tested the WinRM and it looks ok.Can everybody help me with this please?

From the error I would check that the machine name (DNS) can be resolved by the SCVMM Server.  And that the share exists.

The VMM management server is on a VM and on host I have one hard disk which I want to use it like a library

A Hyper-V Server cannot also be a Library Server.

I did this before, and was possible but now I receive this error and I can't figure it out.I read that this is possible on one blog about VMM,just that it said that is not a best practice.

Hi Sir,

I tried to search this winrm error "0x800704cf" :

I would suggest you to check if that server and share can be accessed .

Then please check the A record and PTR record of that share server .

Also please check DC trusted connection state :

nltest /sc_verify:Yourdomainname

Best Regards,

Elton Ji
