Can't access Skydrive from Windows Server 2008
Hi, For some reason I can't access Skydrive from my Windows 2008 SR2 server. In fact I can't access Live.com and some of its subdomains. No problems with Hotmail.com and I can use Google Drive or Dropbox without any issues. No problems with any other sites that I know of. It's a remote server, hosted by a hosting company. I use no-ip.com for DNS and DNS or rDNS lookups seem fine to me. Can someone help? I'd hate to have to use Google Drive, it's so messy and all my docs are on Skydrive... Thanks

Hello, Check for internet restrictions at your place if you have any. Also recommend you check for proxy settings.Regards, Ravikumar P

I went and asked on the Skydrive forum as well. I checked the proxy settings and nothing looked wrong to me.

Hi, Please also check if the live.com is blocked by using restricted sites in Internet Properties, firewall, antivirus program or Internet Explorer Group Policy. You may also try to reset Internet Explorer settings to check the result: How to reset Internet Explorer settings http://support.microsoft.com/kb/923737 Regards,Arthur Li TechNet Community Support

Thank you for your reply. I checked the blocked sites and no site was blocked. I am not using any firewall on the server, there is a physical FW managed by the hosting company and they are telling me that they haven't blocked live.com. It really annoying, I hope to find a solution soon.
