Calculations in Query Rule Usage Reports

In the Query Rule Usage report by month there are three columns, Times fired, Promoted result clicks and % Promoted result preferred.  If "% Promoted result preferred" is calculated simply by (Promoted result clicks) * 100 / (Times fired), the percentage is incorrect on all but a very few entries.  The calculation seems to be off regardless if  the query rule has one or more promoted results assigned.

Examples:

Rule 1

Times fired: 959

Promoted result clicks: 440

% Promoted result preferred: 51.16   (Should be 44.88 % ?)

Rule 2

Times fired: 6

Promoted result clicks: 3

% Promoted result preferred: 100   (Should be 50 % ?)

If anyone else has seen this, or has an explanation I would appreciate it.

Thank you

I too am perplexed by the relationship between Times Fired, Promoted Result Clicks and %Promoted Result Preferred calculation. I'm seeing the same inconsistencies that you are and am trying to find some explanation of how to interpret these stats.
