CEIP still logging off after disabled and all tasks deleted.
I am running an app on Windows 2008r2 server that needs to stay up 24/7. With no rhyme or reason my application stops at all hours of the day. When I check the event log I see logoff entries from CEIP. I have opted out and disabled all tasks related to CEIP but still get logoff entries in the event log that say 'User Logoff Notification for Customer Experience Improvement Program'  What must I do to keep CEIP from logging my user off? This happens daily and is beyond frustrating. There must be something else I am missing.

Hi,

Based on the description, we can try to disable the CEIP via group policy to see if the situation persists. To do this, we can enable the following policy setting:

Computer Configuration\Policies\Administrative Templates\System\Internet Communication Management\Internet Communication settings\Turn off Windows Customer Experience Improvement Program

Regarding this point, the following article can be referred to for more information.
