CAL upgrade needed from 2003 Standard to Enterprise?
I am hoping to upgrade a very old sever running Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition, to Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition, in order to use all 8GB of RAM installed in the server. Exchange 2003 is running on this system as well. Will there be any issue with CALS?

Hello, licensing can be easy cleared with Microsoft support. But better ask in Exchange forums about the upgrade from the underlying OS version for your Exchange to not run into trouble with that one. It should work but check BEFORE. http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/category/exchangeserver/Best regards Meinolf Weber MVP, MCP, MCTS Microsoft MVP - Directory Services My Blog: http://msmvps.com/blogs/mweber/ Disclaimer: This posting is provided AS IS with no warranties or guarantees and confers no rights.
