Buying $99 Microsoft Email Support for Servers
A few years ago we were regularly buying support tickets for Windows Server 2003 Web Edition for $99 for email support. I cannot locate that option any more. Has Microsoft discontinued the $99 email support option? Where do I access it?Will

When I select the Partners (resellers/consultants) link in your list, I get to a screen for Windows 2003 Web Edition like the one below. If I select "Don't use a professional support license..." they charge about $250/hour. We are in the Microsoft Action Pack Solution Provider subscription program. Is there some way I am supposed to be able to leverage that to choose the first two options? I don't see the path to a $99 support by email option. Mike, it looks like Microsoft has discontinued its $99 email pay per incident support program. Maybe the page you posted has not been updated for a while? To me this is a huge step backwards for Microsoft. The $99 email plans were a very cost effective way of getting high quality support, when the problem was one that could be solved over several weeks. Will

Perhaps. It wouldn't be the first time a page went without a necessary upgrade. I'm not sure I'd agree its a step backwards though. Things always get more expensive in this life. :( Mike Crowley | MVP My Blog -- Planet Technologies

So if things get more expensive then raise the price of the $99 email support to $125? You don't throw out the baby with the bathwater. The basic idea of a lower cost email-based support program had a lot of merit. Will
