When network browsing with Server 2008 as master browser comments are not displayed. Change browser master to XP station or Win 7 station and comments display when metwork browsing. How can I get Server 08 to display comments.

As mentioned in this thread, this is a known issue. Allthough this thread dates from january 2009, I have found no trace of a fix. I think the best recommendation would be to fully updte your servers, and if the issue persist, disabling the master browser service on all 2008 servers. This would make a 2003 server the preferred elected master browser and thus workaround the issue.MCP/MCSA/MCTS/MCITP
