Brower Warning/Error in System Logs
I am getting the following warnings / error in my system log on one of our app servers.
Event ID's 8021, 8032
Description: The Browser service has failed to retrieve the backup list too many times on transport \Device\<var>Protocol</var>_<var>NetworkAdaptor</var>. The backup browser is stopping.
Description: The browser was unable to retrieve a list of servers from the browser master \\<var>CurrentMasterBrowser</var> on the network \Device\<var>Protocol</var>_<var>NetworkAdaptor</var>.
Let me paint the picture first.
total of 4 servers in this setup. All are Windows 2003 R2 x32bit
2 of them are domain controllers
2 of them are application servers.
Only one of the application servers is logging these message, the other one is not.
No other servers have this error including the DC's
I've already researched and ruled out the common causes of this issue per MS:
File and print sharing is enabled
servers have ONE network card, no multi homing
No clusters
I'm thinking the problem is on the one app server only and not the Domain controllers because the other app server ok. No negative impacts have been determined on the server but I still dont like those being logged.
Any thoughts?

That tool is designed for Windows 2000.
Will it work in 2003?
