Blocked Ports
Hi, When we block ports using firewall, this information must be stored somewhere else in the windows machine(C drive usaually) .Can any body please tell me where exactly it stores this information. Thanks in Advance Venkatesh Bhandaru

Hi Venkatesh, Thank you for your post. Default Windows firewall log file is %systemroot%\system32\logfiles\firewall\pfirewall.log. You need to enable firewall log for logging dropped packets in advance, then copy the file to another folder to open & read pfirewall.log. Hi Rick tan, Thanks for your earlier reply, Actually my question is about where blocked ports information is stored in the windows machine. Because It must store this information in persistent storage inorder to keep the settings( even after many reboots).
