Biztalk XSD Schemas HealthCare PACDR
Does anyone know where I can find XSD Schemas for the PACDR formats 298,299 and 300 that would work in Biztalk server.

Hi,To access EDI schema with BizTalk ,browse to root Microsoft BizTalk Server 2013 and go to XSD_Schema\EDI.
In the direcrtory you will find a file named MicrosoftEdiXSDTemplate.exe .If you run this file it will generate all the EDI schemas which is being shipped with BizTalk.

Thanks

Hi,

Hope you already installed EDI application from BizTalk server setup, if not than first install EDI application from BizTalk installation and in your installation directory of BizTalk for example "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft BizTalk Server 2013\XSD_Schema\EDI", folder and you also find zip file inside this folder named as MicrosoftEdiXSDTemplates.exe for more templates on EDI.

Sharad

Yes, you must have EDI installed.

In %BizTalk Install Folder%\XSD_Schema\EDI rename MicrosoftEdiXSDTemplagtes.exe to MicrosoftEdiXSDTemplagtes.zip.  Then you can browse it with Windows Explorer to HIPAA\5010 Errata\837x.

PSCDR is just guidance on how to use the existing 837 transaction.  Your Trading Partner should supply you with a Companion Guide on how to complete the transaction.

Thanks everyone for your responses. I expanded this (MicrosoftEdiXSDTemplates.exe) out and it looks like Microsoft is not shipping XSD for the transactions that I need. These are a newer healthcare format that is a hybrid of 837 and 835 information used for reporting. I purchased the XSD from the X12 store and they did not work. Their technical support told me that these would not work in Biztalk because Microsoft uses special annotation. I am not sure what that means but I guess I need to figure this out next. Technical  support also thought that most likely I would need to get this from Microsoft because of their annotated XSD.

My hope was someone somewhere had developed these for Biztalk. I cannot imagine that haven't.

This is the official name of the transactions that I am looking for XSD for.
