Biztalk Interview Preparation.
Hello All,

I have worked on Biztalk for almost one year. I have basic knowledge on Biztalk Components and architectural things.
Now I am thinking of trying for an interview so I would like to know 
what kind of Knowledge the interviewer expect as I am 1 year experience

Hi Nilesh,

Basically you need to concentrate on following topics:

- BizTalk Pub-Sub architecture, basic knowledge of all artifacts

- Convoys, integration patterns (some interviewers are interested), custom pipelines

- basics of BizTalk databases and jobs

- BizTalk Environment setup in multi server env

- they may ask for some scenarios for you to resolve, BizTalk throttling (important)

Apart from above suggestions I would like to add some more points,

  1. Basic knowledge of BizTalk Architecture.
  2. Basic knowledge of Schema and mapping creation 
  3. Create custom pipelines
  4. Basic knowledge of adapters.

For 1 Years experience above suggestions are enough, and always try to learn new things.

You need to learn basics of :

-> Architecture of BizTalk in depth

-> Schemas (Envelope,Flat File and Document)

-> Maps (all basic and advanced functoids, specially Scripting)

-> Pipelines (Receive,Send,PassThru and Custom pipeline component basics)

-> Orchestration (All the shapes,correlation,convoys and some design patterns)

-> Basics of Host and Host instances (Isolated and In-process)

-> Concept of adapters (The one which you have used)

-> Basics of BAM (Its databases and jobs)

-> Basics of BRE (its working,Facts,Policies and priorities)
