BizTalk Clonning

Hi there,

We have just one BizTalk Server with one SQL server.

We want to clone the solution, togather with some of the coresponding systems (parties).

Should we expect any trouble from the BizTalk server itself when it detects change of IP address please ?

Any other problems that we should prepare for ?

Warmest regards,

While BizTalk it not bound to any IP address, cloning is not recommended, mostly due to Windows and SQL Server.

SysPrep'ing an unconfigued is supported but if you have already configured BizTalk, building a new instance is you best bet. It really doesn't take that long.

Hi,

Microsoft BizTalk Server Cloning is not being supported by Microsoft due to transactional nature . There are multiple items which restrict Cloning like MSDTC ,SQL transactional nature etc .

Thanks
