Will the CAT Framework work with BT2013 R2? I'm trying to upgrade a 2010 app on our new 2013 server. The app makes use of the CAT Framework and I'm getting compile errors because the reference to the CAT Framework DLL cannot be found. I've tried reinstalling the CAT Framework several times to no avail. Also, looking in the GAC I cannot find it after install. I know that previously CAT was tied to the DotNET 3.5 framework so I made sure it is installed correctly on the server.

I managed to fix it. I just had to create the appropriate directories in the GAC  folder and copy the dll from the old 2010 server into the folder on the 2013 server.

Huh?  Wow, sure, that will work but you really shouldn't have to do that.

Were you installing CAT Fx as Administrator?
