BizTalk 2006 - Failed to decode the S/MIME message. The S/MIME message may not be valid

I am using BizTalk server 2006,  and configured a POP3 receive location. Few of the messages are suspended with below message

Description:

A message received by adapter "POP3" on receive location "............." with URI "..................." is suspended.

Error details: There was an authentication failure. "Failed to decode the S/MIME message. The S/MIME message may not be valid.".

While searching over the internet found that some Hot fixes are available for BizTalk Server 2006 R2 . But I am using 2006 , are there any patches available for BizTalk 2006?

Patches or not, this issue could be because you've received an encrypted communication and the associated partner certificate is not available in the "Other Persons" Certificate Store for the Host Instance Service a/c on the machine where the receive location is running.

Secondly officially BizTalk Server 2006 is no longer supported so you'd have to contact Microsoft directly. The list of available Service Packs, Rollup, fixes, etc is available @http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2555976/en-us

Thanks you for the information. But after analysing found that not all the emails from specific partner are being suspended, some are successfully getting processed and some are getting stuck.

From the below link found out that it is a known issue with BizTalk 2006 R2 and BizTalk 2009, and some hotfixes are available. But i am not able to find any similar patches for BizTalk 2006.
