I've heard about a recent event that was held in Sweeden, during which (allegedly) it was anounced that BizTalk is going to be discontinued and replaced by other applications. 

Is that true ?

No. BizTalk SERVICES has been discontinued and will be replaced with Logic Apps in Microsoft Azure.

BizTalk SERVER has nothing to do with BizTalk SERVICES and has full focus from MS. There will be a major release next year: BizTalk Server 2016.

Is it true: Absolutely not.

BizTalk Server will be offered and supported for a very long time.  There is simply no credible replacement on any road map from Microsoft or any other vendor really.
