Belkin remote console has problems with server2008
I have a Belkin F1DP116G KVM-over-IP Switch. When I bring up remote console on a win2008 server I cannot sync up the mouse movement. My mouse is in one area and the console mouse is in another area of the screen. I have gone over every Doc I can find on this but cannot fix it. Installed all the lastest firmware I can find. The funny thing is it works perfectly fine on Win2003 servers.I need to find an answer, I have new Win2008 servers going in.Thank you

Hello,
You mentioned Belkin F1DP116G KVM-over-IP Switch, did you remote connect to Windows Server 2008 over this Switch?
Can you please tell us what is the remote console do you use? Is it RDP or some third party remote connection methods?
If it is remote desktop connection, what is the terminal server do you connect?
For better and quick answer to terminal service related question, it is recommend you post here in the Terminal services forum

Thanks.

You remote connect to the Windows server through a web interface built into the KVM switch

Hi,
Many computer problems are neither software problems nor hardware ones, but instead are compatibility problems. Windows Server 2008 is of the new generation of Operating Systems. We design Windows Server 2008 in compliance with the industrial standard. However, please understand that some third party device drivers or service may be not compatible, we also do our best to make our OS work properly with most third-party products.
As the issue happens when you connect to Windows Server 2008 through web interface built into the KVM switch, I would like to suggest you contact the manufacture of hardware to check if there is an compatibility issue with them.
Thanks.
