I created a SharePoint 2013 Farm from the template in the Preview Portal. It provisioned 3 traditional SharePoint role VMs - A Web Front End, a SharePoint App mid-tier and a SQL Server backend.

When I go into the WFE and create a Business Intelligence site and try to use the Dashboard Designer, an incorrect connection string is passed to SQL evidently. I have tried several name in the connection string but none work. It seems pretty simple to me to associate a datasource with Dashboard Designer, but its not. 

Any help would be appreciated, I can forward screen shots if that would help.
