Azure mobile service free trial account verification does not work

I am trying to create an account with azure mobile service,

During the free trial account verification process, SMS or call me option does not work after I entered my correct US mobile phone number. 

It says " We were unable to verify your account" message.

Any solution to this problem?

that doesn't work because you don't have an active subscription you will need
to contact general customer support to have them create a support ticket for

Hello,

I would recommend you to use full number like 1213 285 4820. I've come across this issue myself and found that it required the last digit from country code to be included. So my code was +380 and I thought it was needed to enter remaining 9 digits (98 123 4567) but I noticed that tooltip in the edit-box showd 10 digits. and once I entered the number with the last digit of country code 098 123 4567 it worked.

It's resolved.

I had to contact customer support. and they let me subscribe through phone communication.

Verification through SMS or call didn't happen. but customer support manually helped me.
