Azure Database Error while creating it from DreamSpark Subscription.

I tried to create a website from CMS Template available on Azure with DreamSpark Subscription but its giving error on the process of creating the MySQL Database. Even creating the independent database in this case wont work. The error which shows up clearly states

The Offer is not sold in the account market (NP).

Hi Ravi,

Thanks for posting here!

MySQL Database is a clearDB product and clearDB is a 3rd party vendor associated with Microsoft Azure. To create MySQL Database you need to associate your credit card with your DreamSpark account.

There could be two reasons why you're getting the error "The Offer is not sold in the account market (NP)"
1. The offer is not valid in your country and also MySQL is not offer in that region.

2. The DataMarket region is different from the one your account is created.

Refer to this link - https://azure.microsoft.com/en-in/documentation/articles/store-php-create-mysql-database/ you might find it useful.

Best Regards

Sadiqh Ahmed

Hi Ravi

I would suggest you open a support ticket as this should work correctly if you have followed all the steps in the blog

To Open a support

1. Go to http://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/support/options/

2. Select

Technical and billing support

Get help on billing, subscription, quota management and deployment issues. Explore new support plans.

Get support

3. This logs you into your azure portal

4. Select create a support request enter in as much detail + screenshot as possible
