Availability Report SCOM 2007

Hi Guys,

I am working on generating availability report for specific services (Specific Services Per Server/Group of Server Report with Server Uptime) with in our environment. I have followed the below article

http://terrytlslau.tls1.cc/2012/05/generating-report-for-specific-windows.html

I haven't used out of the box availability report for example one that comes with exchange management packs or windows computer because they have a lot of information and i don't need all of them. Just some specific info.

Now difficulty/confusion i am running into is that i have to create monitor for each service and pickup server. We have different services like Lync, Exchange, BES, Dynamics, SQL etc.

Is there a any other better way like using generic availability report and selective services per server or group?

How can i get server up-time along with the services availability in same report?

Thx guys for taking time to go through the question.

Regards,

This looks like its going to pull all the elements of health service. I just need info about specific services + server uptime for single/group of servers.

Hi Navdeep,

For server uptime, you can import a uptime MP.

http://www.systemcentercentral.com/pack-catalog/system-up-time-monitoring/

For specific services, you can create a seperate group wherein you can select only a particular class of component, you require and then you can extract the report everytime for the same group.

Kind Regards,
