Autoresolve on alarms not working

Hi!

I have a customer that the auto reolve function is not working. It seems that it have been started this summer. The customer have SCSM and all alarms will be forward to SCSM.

Example: When the alarm arrived the SCSM script will change the resoluton state (acknowledge...) and send the alarm into SCSM. After one hour the alarm is still not closed, when I check through Health Explorer I can see that the monitor is healthy. The History is saying that it get Healthy by SCOM 3 minutes after it arrived.

Anyone that have seen this problem before?

Can you please check the monitor properties once. Ensure that the auto resolve alerts radio button is checked.

and drop down button says " resolve the alert when monitor reaches healthy state".

In addition to what S K Agrawal wrote you can check if there are some overrides, configured on this monitor, which are stating that "Auto-resolve alert" is "False".
