Auditting Password Length
We have implemented new password requirements in our 2003domain including a 14 char minimum passwordthrough AD/GP. We then forced a password change on all users.Of course my users grumbled alot. Due to some unforeseen network issuesGP didn't get applied to some machines. Some users were able toenter 8 character passwords. We have hopefully fixed the GP propigation problem.I would nowlike to be able to audit the password lengths of my users to determine which users have passwords less than 14 characters. I can then force a password change on those users without having to make all users change their passwords. Is there an easy way to do this?I would also like to know the registry value where the minimum password length is located so I can verify the application of GP without using RSOP or GPresult on all my machines. I have seen this registrypath in posts but it does not exist on my machines: \SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\NetworkDoes anyone have some advice? Thanks in advanceMichael
