I am new to windows systems. Kindly help me to resolve below issues.

OS : Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise Edition Service Pack2

Application error event id - 20:

Service encounter error <OCS Inventory NG Agent encounter an error (exit code is 4 => Failed to talk with Communication Server)>.

Custom log error event id -4004:

The DFS Replication service stopped replication on the replicated folder at local path E:\TUIHYDControlarearep\APP Build.
 
Additional Information:
Error: 2 (The system cannot find the file specified.)

Please install the hotfix in the article belwo to resolve the issue:

The DFS Replication service may stop responding when it initializes the replication process for the replicated folders on a computer that is running Windows Server 2003 R2, Windows Server 2008, or Windows Server 2008 R2

If the issue still exists, you could reset the primary server to begin an initial replication. For more detaile information, please refer to the thread below:

We are facing the same issue. The file version of dfstree.dll  and dfsrs.exe in our server is higher than the one present in KB977381.

Current version of dfstree.dll  and dfsrs.exe: 6.1.7601.22311.

Can i apply this hotfix ignoring the version?
