My OS is wndows server 2003.AI have tried to open my My Computer or any other window..Application error is showing that "Application Error:Explorer.exe OK to terminate.Cancel to Debug .And i have most important data and Soft wares on my system.So i can't format the system.Can any one help me

Do you have any network disks attatched to the computer ? If so detatching them trough a command window might help. Could you post the event id for the crash ?

Hi sathish, To troubleshoot this problem, please first try clean boot to disable third party service and application to monitor if the issue can be fixed: 1. Click "Start", go to "Run", and type "msconfig" in the open box to start the System Configuration Utility. 2. Click the "Services" tab, check the "Hide All Microsoft Services" box and click Disable All (if it is not gray). 3. Click the "Startup" tab, click "Disable All" and click "OK". 4. Restart your computer. When the "System Configuration Utility" window appears, please check the box and click "OK". If the problem continues, please let us know what software has been installed or upgrade recently. Meanwhile, please open Event viewer to check if there is any relevant error. Regards, Bruce
