Amending a number of Local Security Policy Settings on multiple Member Servers
I have a domain containing around 20 member servers (Windows 2000 and 2003 servers). A default Domain Policy is in place. However some servers have specific local accounts set up on them. The local security policy settings on each of these servers differ from our domain policy.Ie Domain Policy 'Enforce Password history' is set to 15 on the local policy it is set to 0Ie Domain Policy 'Minimum Password Lengh' is set to 7, on the local policy it is set to 0Is there a way to amend all these local security policy setting on all these servers so that they match the default domain policy using automation? Many Thanks

Password policy, when applied at the OU rather than at the domain level, will affect local policy. Put the affected servers into a common OU, create a GPO with policies that match the default Domain policy and link it to the OU containing the computer accounts to be changed.Paul Adare CTO IdentIT Inc.
