Allow only specific CIs from SCOM

Hi,

I have created the Operations Manager CI Connector to get SQL databases from SCOM. However, I get all other SQL components like SQL Agent, Reporting Services, Analysis Services etc. I tried configuring the AllowList only to include the Microsoft.SQLServer.Database class, but I still get all the other classes.

How do I only get databases?

Thanks!

Jimmy

Once you import an MP into SCSM, it instantiates all classes in SCSM from that MP.  The allow list refers to the actual synchronization of CI instances from SCOM to SCSM.  So if you configure the allow list to contain only databases, that doesn't mean you won't have a ton of other "empty" CI types created in SCSM.

This is a huge frustration for us as well.
