I have a server with Win Server 2012 R2 and Hyper-V role added,and a VM with VMM 2012 R2.In the host group in VMM I have a server called Server1 and now it shows me a "need atention" status witch it's telling me

The scvmmagent service is not running on the computer Server1. The scvmmagent service status is Stopped.
Recommended Action
Ensure that the scvmmagent service is running on the computer Server1.

I go on the server and i can't restart the VMM agent service only after i restart the WMI service.After the agent is restarted  when I want to make a refresh for Server1 host it gives me this error:

A Hardware Management error has occurred trying to contact server Server1 :n Cannot Process Filter :HRESULT 0x8033801a:No instance found with given property values.

WinRM:URL:[http://Server1:5985],Verb:[INVOkE],Method:[GetVersion],Resource:[http://schmas.microsoft.com/wbem/wsman/1/wmi/root/scvmm/AgentManagement]

Check that WinRM is installed and running on server Server1.For more information use the command "winrm helmsg" and http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2742275

Have you recently installed any update rollups?

Normally when I see these issues, it's related to network/DNS, so VMM isn't able to resolve/contact the host through the expected channels nor names.

Other things can be an outdated run as account or credentials.

I didn't installed any update and for what I know the run as accounts password was set with "never expire"

1. Is the virtual machine of SCVMM hosted on the Hyper-V hosts which is in "Needs Attention" state?

2. Are there any other Hyper-V hosts in your environment? Is SCVMM able to properly communicate with other Hyper-V hosts?

3. Try to Ping and Tracert this Hyper-V hosts from the SCVMM server. What's the status?

You can try this:

1. Login on the Hyper-V host which is in Needs Attention state in VMM

2. Go to services.msc

3. Restart the WinRM (Windows Remote Mgmt) service

If the problem doesn't get solved after the above steps, you would eventually need to restart the Hyper-V host.

No,the SCVMM virtual machine is hosted on another Hyper-V host not on that with "Need atention" state.In my environment I have one ore Hyper-V host,and i can ping the host with "need atention"

Then try restarting the WinRM (Windows Remote Mgmt) service on the Hyper-V host.

I made that too but it doesn't work
