Hi Scott,
Per my understanding that you want to know the difference between the AdventureWorks 2012 Sample DB and the AdventureWorks 2014 sample DB, right?
I have checked on my local environment that all the table names in these two DB are the same and also they have the same table structure(fields and datatypes are the same), but some of the records in the tables are different.
So, you can determine to keep both or not based on your requirements.
