I need to register my self as the administrator so I can run my scanner.

Hi Janiece, It seems that your computer is in a domain and the account you are using is not an admin account so you are not able to install scanner driver to use it. If I'm correct, do you have an local admin account (such as the Administrator account). If so, logon it and add your current account (maybe a domain account) to Administrators group.
