I have added  VHD file to my VMM shared library folder , but it is not visible in the library share. and when i checked the job logs it shows this error

Warning (10804)

Unable to import \\servername\disk.vhd because of a syntax error in the file.

 

can anyone help please .

Where did you place your VHD file? The path should be \\servername\sharedfolder\disk.vhd

Do it by using explorer and manually refresh the library share afterwards.

It is already placed to path of this format \\servername\sharedfolder\ disk.vhd .

in addition there are other VHD files in the same folder and they are visible in the library .!!! i am just unable to see one of the VHDs  from the Library.

  

I have the same issue .. folder has 20+ vhds in it and VMM will only not see one of them.  Any ideas? 

I have also faced the same issue.

it's because the vhd file is currupt. because of some reasons.

can all of you check and verify that the vhd is actually working - and not corrupted?
