I just created a report builder. I have a main report and i wanted to create a sub report. my question, why i cant or i cant view the path or the folder of my  .rdl file to be use as my sub report. Any idea please. thank you.

Hi,

1. Create Report 1 , this is your main report.
2. Create Report 2 , this will act as subreport.
3. Now open report 1 and from toolbox drag the subreport control to this main report.
4. Then Right click on the subreport control and configure it to Point to the Report 2.
5. Configure the Parameter For subreport , if you have to pass any paramter.

Hi Milan, I tried already this process. Under "Use this report  as subreport" I click the browse ans there is a new screen or wondow appear to select the report but no report was displayed.

by the way, in SSRS this process is working but in report builder it doesnt work for me.

This screen shot i captured in SSRS and it working, the list of report are displaed. My question is why in report builder the list of report to be selected as sub report  was not displayed.
