Add Remove programs missing Windows server 2003 SP 2
Hi I am trying to get professional to help me with this problem but looks that professionals dont live here I have problem with add remove programs icon missing and after expanding appwiz.cpl and trying regsvr32 appwiz.cpl still no luck. Then i tried to run sfc system file checker and that didnt help either. Now i think that the problem is probably with registry. Where is the key for add remove programs in registry. That is probably corrupted and I would like to talk to specialist who worked with windows registry on this problem and not someone who thinks this is the solution but they never had any experience with that. Hope someone experienced enough can walk me through registry settings for Add/remove programs

unfortunately last thing i cant do. This is production server that hosts exchange and blackberry server and if i do that company is going down I guess i will leave it unsolved it is working ok now just dont have add remove programs can live without that I thought it is registry related problem since the file exists just not registered in registry. Guess will leave it unresolved. I try to talk to Microsoft and they say it is impossible it never happened before I guess it is one in milion things that nobody knows how to resolve. Cant crash this server cause all company is going down then Leave it like thisDalibor Bosic

If you open a call from PSS they will certainly do there analysis by doing all these things which I have mentioned so please dont blame MS if a third party application or virus is creating a problem.http://www.virmansec.com/blogs/skhairuddin
