Active directory users and computer design
Hi
We are a 1500 employee organization and have 15 sites. How do you guys have active directory users and computers architectured ? Is there a way I can automate and computers in the domain to the right containers based on locations. Right now we have one container
where we stick all the computer objects but looking for a solution to categorize based on regions\sites.
Please provide any suggestions if possible.

The real question should be, why do you want your machines seperated into different OU's?
If you want to apply different group policies based on geography or department etc
Be specific about what element is more improtant to specify machine settings in your business.
Which change has the higher impact on machine config in your business, moving a user from SiteA to SiteB or from DepartmentA to DepartmentB.
Also weigh up the number of Sites with unique settings Vs the number of departments with unique settings
One may prove more admin heavy to manage.
