Active Directory and windowscan not work properly after these steps: 1) install AD via dcpromo with domain name example.local 2) reboot 3) deinstall AD via dcpromo 4) reboot 5) install AD via dcpromo with domain name example.local 6) reboot after 6 step windows display "Aplying computer parameters" with hi HDD activity ~2-3 minutes, and do nothing after this! i.e. "Aplying computer parameters" with low hdd activity In Safe mode computer boot properly

Can you boot in safe mode and post any relevant event logs here? I've tried to reproduce and I can promote / demote unlimited (well, 3 at least) times without hanging.

What build of WS08 are you using?

I use build 6001 Enterprise
