Active Directory
Hi, I'm in process of Active Directory implementation. We are using Windows 2008 SP2. We have around 900 PC's. Up to now 100 PC's are added to the active directory. Problem : Usually Domain users can not change the system time. But these domain users can change the system time. I can not figured out the problem. Dilshan

Verify that the domain users you mentioned are not members of the "Local Administrators" and "Power Users" group of the computers. By default, only the members of these two groups can change the system time. Hello, if they are local administrator or belong to the power users they still can do it. Also check the following GPO setting: Computer Configuration\Windows Settings\Security Settings\Local Policies\User Rights Assignment "Change the system time"Best regards Meinolf Weber Disclaimer: This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties or guarantees , and confers no rights.
